A tale of two halves…
Just under a year ago we hinted on social media the start of quite a special project. The restoration of a 1955 Jaguar XK140 Fixed Head Coupe. Well, we’re pleased to announce that the project has since gained some momentum and work is well and truly underway.
With the main body (pictured top left) currently at the paint and body shop, work has progressed on the rolling chassis (pictured top right). The XK140 featured a 3.5 litre DOHC straight-six with the original engine and gearbox on this example being restored by the team at ASM. With the FHC being a rare example compared to its open topped roaster counterpart, we’re looking forward to getting this iconic car back on the road.
